CHRISTINA PISANO, PRESIDENT

President, The Research Boutique LLC

Christina Pisano has over 30 years of experience doing strategic market research for companies like MTV Networks, NBC Universal, and AMC Networks.  She has an MBA in Communications & Management from Fordham University in New York and is also a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach.  Since leaving the corporate world in 2011, she has founded or co-founded three companies, The Research Boutique, The Peaceful Elephant, and 20 Every Day.   

Before moving to Colorado, Christina was heavily involved with the NAMIC-NY chapter, starting as a Co-Chair on the then Public Affairs Committee, then serving as Secretary, Vice President, and President.  In her work with NAMIC-NY, she secured funds for the NAMIC Foundation that were used to bridge the digital divide for students in Harlem.  She also worked to bring Media Day to the Frederick Douglass Academy in Harlem, where students were able to meet media industry professionals and learn about future career opportunities.

Christina has always been an advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, growing up in a multi-ethnic family and having a circle of friends with diverse backgrounds.  Since moving to Colorado, Christina has joined the Being Better Neighbors local non-profit as Executive Steering Committee Lead for Programs and Events, overseeing Juneteenth and Pride events in her town.  She is grateful to be back in the NAMIC fold as President of the Denver chapter and excited to meet and work with all its members.

 

 
 

HASHIM SABRIYE, VICE PRESIDENT

Director, Data Platforms, Charter Communications

A service-oriented and forward-thinking visionary leader, Hashim is currently the Director of Data Platforms within the Digital Platforms organization at Charter Communications, where he leads cross-functional, self-managing, and high-performing talented teams that create complex, scalable, impactful products and solutions. Hashim is a result-oriented technology enthusiast and an innovations evangelist - pioneering innovative technology solutions to deliver value to customers. Hashim is adept at developing and managing teams and driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to achieve organizational objectives.

Hashim has lived and studied on four continents and is fluent in five languages. Hashim is completing an MBA in Data Analytics and Finance at LSUS. In addition, he holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Graduate Certificate in Management Sciences, both from the University of Waterloo, Canada. He also has a Bachelor`s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the Usman Institute of Technology, Hamdard University, Pakistan. Hashim holds the following technical industry certifications: Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Data Center, Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, JNCIP-ENT from Juniper, VCP-NV from VMware and OC-P from Ciena.

When not working, Hashim spends quality time with his family and friends. He also loves traveling and is a great mentor to others.

 

 
 
 

KATINA KRITTENEN, TREASURER

Sr. Director Of Software Development, Charter Communications    

An innovative and thought-driven leader, Katina Krittenen is the Sr. Director of Software Development at Charter Communications a Fortune 100 company, with over 20 years of experience in Technology and Communications and strives to develop high-performing teams through Diversity, Collaboration, and inclusion. Katina is passionate about driving innovation from within by honing her talents of development ideation, strategic planning, and delivery to identify areas for change and process improvement from within.

Katina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Design and Development from Devry University and is an MBA candidate from Keller School of Management. An alumni of Namic’s prestigious NAMIC’s EDLP, Executive Leadership Development Program, Class XIX, and Pilot Class graduate of The Cable Center’s Intra Entrepreneur Program. Katina is also the recipient of the Women of Color- 2011 Stem Rising Star award.

In Katina’s free time she is devoted to her family and is an avid Artist, Creator, and Gardener.

 

JESSICA PISANO, SECRETARY

Director Of Major Gifts and Donor Engagement

Jessica has worked in non-profit for more than 20 years with organizations such as the American Cancer Society,  the National Kidney Foundation, and The SCORE Foundation. Throughout her career, Jessica has strived to raise funding for programs and services supporting marginalized and underrepresented communities. In her current role as Director of Major Gifts and Donor Engagement at the Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges, she is responsible for donor identification and engagement. As someone who started her own journey at a community college, Jessica is passionate about helping Colorado Community College System’s students from diverse backgrounds achieve their educational goals.

 

 
 

Alexis Anderten/Membership Chair

Sr Director - Regulatory

Charter Communication

Alexis Anderten has been in the telecommunications industry over 25 years. She started as an intern at Jones Intercable providing proof-of-performance testing for cable systems nationwide. Currently, she is the Senior Director, Regulatory at Charter Communications, where she oversees the federal technical compliance for Charter’s cable systems nationwide.

In her role she collaborates with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization. She supports operations by monitoring new or proposed rules that affect the technical aspects of the outside plant and headend operations. In cooperation with the business leads, she develops and operationalizes compliance plans for rulemakings. She also tracks and reports on various technical regulatory compliance elements.   In addition she develops internal and external regulatory partnerships to support and resolve compliance issues and obligations.

Alexis is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), and the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE).Alexis lives in Centennial, Colorado with her husband.

Patrick Mellon Mentorship Program and housed by the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC).

Ann is the recipient of numerous national honors and awards for her industry contributions, including induction into the Cable Hall of Fame, the National Cable Telecommunications Association’s (NCTA) Distinguished Vanguard Award for Leadership, Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT)’s Woman of the Year and inclusion on CableFAX magazine’s “CableFAX 100” and “Most Powerful Women in Cable” lists multiple times. She has served as national president of WICT and chair of its Foundation and on the boards of NAMIC, CTAM, and its Educational Foundation, The Cable Center, the Cable TV Pioneers, and the NCTA.
